CLIFF LEA, Senior Pastor
clifflea@fbcleesburg.org
Cliff Lea serves as the Senior Pastor of the church and its missional leader. He oversees the staff and drives the overall ministry vision of the church. Cliff has Bible degrees from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. He has led multiple international mission trips in various parts of the world. His passions are God, his family, preaching God’s Word and sharing God’s love at home and around the world. Cliff and his wife Suzy have five sons - Nathan, Luke, Joseph, Tommy, and Stephen.

As Executive Pastor Art oversees the staff and ministries of the church. Additionally he works with media and communication, long range and strategic planning, standing church committees and serves as the Executive Director of the Christian Care Center and the Community Medical Care Center. He and his wife Kelly have two sons, Ben and Alex.

Born in Ocala, Florida, Gary has been a member of First Baptist Church of Leesburg for over 30 years and joined our staff in 1999. He is married to Judy, and they have two daughters and four grandchildren. Gary oversees all senior adult ministries and has responsibilities for nursing home ministry, home bound, hospital visitation, deaf focus and grief ministry. He teaches our New Believers and New Members classes.

AARON BURGNER, Discipleship and Families
Aaron oversees the discipleship and education ministries of the church. He also leads the Family Ministry Team for children, youth, young adults, median adults, weddings, men's and women's ministry. He and his wife, Tiffany, have a son named Titus and a daughter named Haven. Aaron received a Masters of Divinity in Church Ministries from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. Aaron’s passion is preaching and teaching the Word of God and equipping families with tools for discipling their children.

JAY MUDD, Student Pastor
Jay has a BA degree in Leadership from The Baptist College of Florida. His passion is to truly invest in teenagers challenging them to live fully for Jesus! He also understands the importance of family and the impact the family has on ministering to teenagers. His desire is to reach out and partner with parents as they raise future generations. Jay and his wife, Holly, have one daughter, Makayla.

KEN SCRUBBS, Pastor of Community Relations
Born in New Orleans, Ken serves as our Community Relations Minister. He came to FBC in 1997 to help in our Bus Ministry for Saturday Sunday School. Ken's outreach to our community has developed into the Prison Ministry, Campus Liaison for Schools, Mentoring Programs, DJJ Prevention/NAB Program, Governor's Advisory Council Disaster Relief, and the 21st Century Afterschool Program at The Genesis Center (Main Street Campus). Ken and his wife, Linda have lived in Florida for 25 years and have three children, Cymonda, April, James, and two grandchildren.

Pastor "Bird" brings a strong testimony of God’s saving power in his role of overseeing the church’s ministry to children. Besides overseeing Children's Sunday School, he also leads Saturday Sunday School and the Bus Ministry. Additionally, he equips and trains church members in personal evangelism and outreach. He is also head of the Disaster Relief Ministry for FBC. Bird and his wife Judy have one daughter, Dayna.

STEPHEN WOLGAMOTT, Worship Pastor
Stephen joined the staff in February 2008 and oversees all aspects of the Worship Ministry. He and his wife, Jennifer, have one daughter named Natalie. Stephen studied at The Baptist College of Florida and received a Bachelor of Music in Church Music. He is currently pursuing graduate studies in Choral Conducting at the University of Florida.

GREG FRESCOLN, First Academy Administrator
Greg was born and raised in Iowa. He joined our church staff in 1993 and oversees all aspects of First Academy's administration. His wife Jackie teaches History and Literature at FA Middle School. They have two sons, Wyatt and Sawyer.

Suzanne was born and raised in Leesburg and is a life-long member of First Baptist Leesburg. She has been on staff since 1980. Suzanne serves as director of our First Connections Ministry and also oversees weekly childcare for First Academy Preschool, and administrates all preschool activities of the church. She and her husband, Reggie, a Lake County builder, have 4 children-Melissa, Melinda, Matthew and Meagan.
