For Adults age 50 and over, the Mid-Life

& Beyond Ministry at First Baptist Church

is the place for you!

Join us on the third Thursday of each month for "Coffee, Tea, and Thee", a time of fellowship, breakfast and special program. There is no "Coffee, Tea & Thee" during the months of June, July, August and December.

We meet the needs of transportation, enrichment, and outreach with ministry teams.

Travel is a small part of our Mid-Life and Beyond ministry. Short-term trips, extended tours and conferences are included.

Our ministry is about PEOPLE, not age.

Join us for an hour of fast-paced fun, food and fellowship.

Donation baskets are located on each table to help defray cost of food.

No reservations are required and you do not need to be a member of our church to attend.

Council meeting will follow in D-105 for all Mid-Life & Beyond class representatives.

you and match you up with

a visitation partner. This is

a great way to meet others.

$15.00 deposit will hold your place for any 2010 trip. Send/bring check to Karen with list of

trip(s) you wish to attend.

It will soon be time to start planning bus trips for 2011. If you have a suggestion for a bus trip, please feel free to call Karen in the church office.

Senior Care Center is

open Tuesdays and

Thursdays!

Center is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays

from 10 am until 2 pm for caregivers to

bring guests to enjoy various activities

with our volunteers while the caregivers

run errands or enjoy some free time.

If you are alone and would like to attend

on Tuesdays or Thursdays to enjoy the various activities, eat lunch, etc., please feel free to contact us. You do not need to be under the care of a caregiver to come and enjoy our fun activities.

Application and interview process

must be completed prior to

bringing guest to facility.

Independent guests will be asked to complete an emergency contact form.

with one of our volunteers.

We have nineteen Mid-Life and Beyond Bible Fellowship Classes for you to check out. Classes meet at

8:00, 9:30 and 10:45 a.m. each Sunday.

Volunteers to help in our Nursing Home Ministry on Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Singers, teachers and those who can give a warm touch, smile are welcome. We will train you. If you give only one hour per week to this ministry--it will truly make a difference in the lives of some of the most precious people. They will be blessed and so will you.
